On a snowy day in February, we received an inquiry email from a customer.
The message read:
From the message, we could sense that the dog had already passed away.
It turned out this was their favorite photo, but sadly, only an edited version of it remained.
Although edited photos can sometimes be difficult to work with, we believe that the most important thing is not simply making a beautiful product, but creating it using the customer’s most cherished photo.
That’s why we are always exploring ways to produce good results even from low-quality images, and we continuously refine our skills in hand-drawn design work.
A few days later, the design sketch of Teru, their beloved dog, was complete.
After reviewing the sketch, the customer decided to go ahead with the order.
Among our customers who are suffering from pet loss, some begin to feel a little better as we discuss their photo and design.
Once the design is ready, they often tell us that they look forward to receiving the cushion, waiting with anticipation.
Our work is technically “manufacturing,” but it is not simply about making things. We believe our true role is to create while staying close to our customers’ hearts.
Of course, there is pressure and a sense of responsibility. But as long as we continue to hear “thank you,” we want to keep doing our best.
After delivery, we received a heartfelt message of thanks:
The moment we saw the cushion, we both found ourselves smiling with the same tender, loving expression we once had when Teru was alive.
It was a smile we hadn’t been able to make since losing him.
Truly, it feels like he has come back to us—what a mysterious cushion this is.
We placed it right away in his usual spot in the living room. Just looking at it makes us smile without even realizing it.
We are so moved by how beautifully you created it! Thank you also for the red ribbon with his name. Teru’s leash and harness were always red throughout his life, and the ribbon’s color is almost identical to that shade. That made us especially happy.
I believe your work brings light to people who are grieving the loss of their pets. Please keep going with this wonderful mission.
If we ever have another opportunity (and I think we will), we will be sure to reach out again.
Thank you so much this time.”

Every time I receive such words, I remember when my own cat, Maro, passed away, and my eyes fill with tears.
I believe Teru will continue to watch over them from somewhere.
I hope they will keep cherishing his memory together with the cushion.
Always together.
What we deliver is not just a cushion, but the feeling of:
“Always together, from now on.”
