I invited my deceased dog to my wedding.

A Memorial Knitted Cushion for Hana

We received a heartfelt review from a customer who ordered a memorial cushion of her beloved dog, Hana, crafted entirely from yarn.

From ritsuko:
“The whole process—from placing my order to receiving the cushion—was smooth and quick. The cushion turned out just as I had hoped: warm, comforting, and truly beautiful.
At our wedding reception on November 15, we were able to have our dear Hana, who passed away on September 1 at the age of 16, welcome our guests together with us.
I’m so glad I placed this order. Your kind handwritten letter also brought tears to my eyes. Next time, I think I’d like to order a blanket.
Thank you so much for everything.”

The Warmth of a Knitted Memorial Cushion

This is not a printed cushion, but one carefully knitted from yarn, stitch by stitch, capturing the likeness of a beloved pet.
Such cushions are often ordered as memorials, but also as wedding or birthday gifts.

In this case, it was both—a remembrance of a cherished pet and a part of a wedding celebration.

The idea of inviting a beloved dog who had passed away to attend the wedding was such a touching request. It left a deep impression on me, and I still remember it clearly.

To experience both the joy of marriage and the sorrow of saying goodbye to a pet around the same time must have been overwhelming. I sincerely hope that this cushion will serve as a lasting memory and bring comfort whenever it is embraced. May it always remind you of that special day.

Pets and Life’s Turning Points

It is not uncommon for pets to pass away around important milestones—such as birthdays or weddings. In fact, our own cat passed away on the very day of my wife’s birthday.

Sometimes I even wonder if pets can hear and understand our words more deeply than we realize.

Even if they don’t understand our language, I believe they do understand our feelings. And while our words may not reach heaven, our love surely does.
Likewise, I believe the feelings of our pets continue to reach us.

I’m certain that Hana, too, is celebrating and blessing your marriage from heaven.

Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness.
