Customer Review of Our Custom Knitted Pet Cushion

The other day, my family’s beloved dog, who lived with my parents, suddenly passed away. My mother had always been with our dog—when sleeping, eating, or going for walks. After the loss, she said, “I don’t know how I’ll manage from tomorrow onward.”
Wanting to do something for her, I found knitted cushion. My mother had said, “I can’t hold my dog anymore,” so I thought with a cushion she could at least have something to hug. At first, I worried it might make her feel even sadder, but when I showed her the finished cushion, she said, “I’m so happy I could cry,” and she was truly delighted.
I’m so glad I gave it to her. I’m deeply grateful for such a wonderful cushion. Thank you very much!

When we read Sakura’s words—especially the phrase “I worried it might make my mother feel even sadder”—it struck a deep chord with us.
That’s because, in the beginning, we had the same concern ourselves.
Originally, these custom knitted cushions were created as gifts for happy occasions—such as birthdays or Christmas—ordered by owner’s family or friends while their pets are healthy and living with them.
But gradually, more and more requests came from families grieving the loss of a pet.
At first, we worried too: “What if this makes their sadness worse?”
But time and again, customers and bereaved families told us how much joy the cushions brought them.
This recent review also reflects that same journey. The customer must have been deeply concerned about her mother’s feelings, yet she chose to order the cushion, and in the end, her mother was truly comforted. Hearing that brought us happiness as well.
